Reservoir Engineering
The ideal candidate will:
 |
Have significant experience in reservoir simulation |
 |
Be accomplished in problem solving using classical reservoir engineering techniques |
 |
Be proficient in pressure transient theory and analysis |
 |
Show commercial awareness ? i.e. be familiar with data rooms, industry regulations, fiscal terms and contract terms, reserves classification, project economics, etc |
 |
Be experienced in using petroleum engineering software for nodal analysis, material balance, PVT characterisation, etc |
 |
Have good familiarity with risk analysis techniques to define probabilistic reserves and production profiles |
 |
Be well acquainted with operational issues, such as those relating to drilling, completions, coring, open and cased hole logging, production operations, test equipment and facilities design |
 |
Display confident communication, presentation and reporting skills |
Other desirable skills and expertise include:
 |
Experience in well-site supervision of testing operations |
 |
The ability to scope out and manage PVT and SCAL laboratory programmes |
 |
Experience in field development and rejuvenation planning, optimisation, project implementation, and reservoir management |

Petrophysics
Candidates for this position will have the following knowledge and skills:
 |
Experience of single-well quick-look analyses as well as in-depth multi-well field studies |
 |
Well-developed computing skills in petrophysical analysis and interpretation |
 |
Ability to evaluate open and cased-hole logging data |
 |
Proficient report writing and presentation skills |
 |
Ability to integrate core analysis data (conventional and SCAL) and well test data with wireline log data |
 |
Experience of modern wireline tools and analysis techniques as well as historical and LWD-type data |
 |
Clastic and carbonate reservoir experience |
 |
Adaptable and a team player |

Drilling Engineering/Supervision
Candidates will have the following experience and skills:
 |
Proficient in the planning, design, preparation, and cost estimation of drilling programmes, supported by a solid technical and operational background |
 |
Supervision of drilling and well engineering projects |
 |
International experience, including offshore operations and remote onshore locations |
 |
Commercial awareness, with the ability to procure and contract for provision of equipment and services |
 |
Ability to work in a wide range of regulatory, operational and economic environments |
 |
Experience in the design and operational aspects of a wide variety of wells, such as high angle, HP/HT, long reach, drilling in depleted and or sensitive reservoirs, etc |
 |
Confident reporting, presentation and negotiating skills to extend to clients |
 |
Ability to supervise staff and subcontractors and to work in a multi-disciplinary team |

Production Technology
Candidates for the position of Production Technologist should have the following experience and skills:
 |
Proficient in conceptual and detailed completion, workover, remediation, sand control, stimulation treatment, etc, planning and design |
 |
Thorough knowledge of artificial lift technology, design, installation, and operation of a variety of lift systems |
 |
Proficient in the performance of nodal analysis, and able to perform pressure transient analysis |
 |
Preparation and analysis of tenders for the provision of equipment and services |
 |
Expertise in production chemistry, scaling and corrosion prevention and treatment, wax management, injection fluid treatment, etc |
 |
Development of detailed completion and production operations procedures |
 |
International experience, including offshore operations and remote onshore locations |
 |
Ability to work in a wide range of regulatory, operational and economic environments |
 |
Supervision of completion, remediation, stimulation and production operations |
 |
Confident reporting, presentation and negotiating skills to extend to clients |
 |
Ability to supervise staff and subcontractors and to work in a multi-disciplinary team |

Operations Petroleum Engineering
Candidates for Operations Petroleum Engineering positions should have the following experience and skills:

Preparation and analysis of tenders for well test and completion equipment and services |

Ability to perform basic completion and well test design to achieve the desired objectives |
 |
Development of detailed completion and well testing operations procedures |
 |
International experience, including offshore operations and remote onshore locations |
 |
Ability to work in a wide range of regulatory, operational and economic environments |
 |
Well-site supervision of completion and well testing operations |
 |
Ability to perform basic well test and pressure transient analysis to quality control data as it is acquired |
 |
Confident reporting, presentation and negotiating skills to extend to clients |
 |
Ability to supervise staff and subcontractors and to work in a multi-disciplinary team |
