Well Operations & Testing

Blackwatch has expertise in conducting a wide range of international well operations. From the Tundra of Northern Russia to the deserts of North Africa, and from south-east Asia to the deepwater of the west of Shetlands. We have conducted well testing operations from semi-submersibles, jack-ups, drill ships, and production platforms. As well as offshore we are experienced in onshore operations in many challenging environments and geographical locations including those of a high level of environmental sensitivity. For all well operations, from complex well testing through to routine wireline and data acquisition we are able to provide a complete service. From conceptual pre-planning and setting of objectives, tender evaluation and contractor selection, through to wellsite supervision, post-well reporting and data analysis.

Our staff have gained their well operations and testing experience both from a service company and operating oil company background.  

We have a proven track record of using innovative techniques to ensure that that the maximum amount of value adding data is obtained from a well test in the most cost effective manner.

For all our wellsite operations safety and environmental protection is of paramount importance. All our operations staff are fully trained and highly experienced. Our track record is exemplary - with no accidents, safety or environmental incidents.

We have developed a Well Testing Operations Manual (see "What's New?") in conjunction with an international operating oil company. This addresses all aspects of conducting a safe and successful test and is being made available to the industry.
